We attach great importance to protecting your personal information. At vpsproxies.com, your personally identifiable information is handled in an ethical and legal manner. This privacy policy has been adopted by us in order to explain the information that we collect, how we use the information that we collect, and how we safeguard your data. Your use of our website is governed by a set of general rules and policies, which are outlined in this Privacy Policy, as well as in the Terms and Conditions.

You can reach out to us at support@vpsproxies.com if you have any questions or requests related to the way in which your personal data is processed if you have any questions or requests related to this policy.

Processing of information when you sign up

We will make it clear, either before or at the time that we collect personally identifiable information, why this information is being gathered and how it will be used.

We collect and use personal information only with the goal of fulfilling the purposes specified by us and for other compatible purposes, unless we obtain the consent of the individual concerned or as required by law. Other compatible purposes may also be included in the collection and use of personal information.

We collect personal information in a lawful and ethical manner, and whenever possible, we do so with the knowledge or consent of the individual whose information we are collecting.

The personal information that is collected ought to be pertinent to the purposes for which it is to be used and, to the extent that it is necessary for these purposes, ought to be accurate, comprehensive, and accurate and up-to-date.

We take multiple precautions to protect your data, including those that are physical, technological, and administrative in nature. Visit the page dedicated to our security for further details.

We make use of data storage facilities located in both the United States and Ireland. In addition, any of your information that is given to third parties will be stored in any of the data centers that are owned by those third parties. The data that is being transferred between Proxy and third parties, as well as the data that is being transferred between our servers and applications, may be cached momentarily while in transit or locally on receiving devices for the sole purpose of enhancing the service’s performance and reliability.

If we decide to make any alterations to this policy, they will be posted on this webpage, and an explanation of the changes will be provided at the very top of the page. If there are significant updates, we will write you an email at the address you gave us with all the relevant information and send it to you.

Details Regarding One’s Identity and Profile

When you activate Proxy on a new phone, you are required to provide your name and a photo of yourself. Other information, such as email addresses that link to your existing memberships and organization affiliations, can be added to your profile if you choose, but this is completely optional. As part of your profile, our servers will save both your name and your photo, in addition to your email address. If you would like this information removed, you can do so by requesting that your Proxy account be deleted.

Proxy offers services that enable you to digitize your physical ID cards and store them locally on your mobile device. These services can be found on their website. Proxy utilizes the services of third-party companies in order to provide you with this service. These services check the legitimacy of your ID card and compare your photo to the one on the card. Your identification card information, card photo, and verification status are never stored on Proxy servers; instead, they are stored locally on your phone. This includes both the information and the photo. The selfie that you take during the ID verification process will be saved on proxy servers at a random URL that will only be known to the local app that is installed on your phone. If you deactivate the Proxy app that’s installed on your phone, you have the ability to delete any locally stored data at any time. At that point, any link that existed between your account and the selfie that had been previously verified will be severed.

Information pertaining to health

Proxy is a company that offers services that enable you to import the results of your health tests and digitize the paper health documents you already have. Your health test results and health documents are never stored on Proxy servers and are instead stored locally on your phone. If you have indicated that you are willing to share information about your health with another organization, then we will only store the overall status of the documents that you provide on Proxy servers. We will not store the documents themselves or any information that may be contained within them. If you deactivate the Proxy app that’s installed on your phone, you have the ability to delete any locally stored data at any time.

You are also given the opportunity to participate in a health survey when you use a Proxy. Your survey responses will not be recorded in any way, nor will they be saved anywhere. If you have indicated that you are willing to share information about your health with another organization, then the only information that will be stored on Proxy servers will be the overall pass or fail status of the survey, along with the reason for the failure.

The information that you give

The information you provide for your profile will be saved on Proxy servers. When you actively choose to check in at a supported location using a check-in kiosk, your phone will only send your name and a photo of you for presentation purposes. This information will be sent to the kiosk.

On Proxy servers, we will only store the verification status of your documents and the selfie you took during the verification process if you have agreed to share the verified status of your ID with another organization. We will not store the documents themselves or any information contained within them. In addition, we will not store any information contained within the documents. The requesting organization will receive this verification information from us as soon as possible.

If you have indicated that you are comfortable sharing your health status with another organization, we will only store the overall pass or fail status of your health survey, the failure reason, and the status of your provided health documents on Proxy servers. We will not store the documents themselves or any information that may be contained within them. The requesting organization will receive this status information from us as soon as possible.

When you choose to check in at a location that supports it, your phone will anonymously transmit just the overall pass or fail status of your health survey, as well as the status of your documents, but not the documents themselves, to a check-in kiosk. This will only include the status of your documents.

The information regarding your credit card and billing address that you provide is used for the purpose of processing payments, regardless of whether you are an administrator, a business, or a paying user.

Your choices and rights regarding privacy.

You have the option to withhold the provision of certain information. You are not required to upload a photo to your Proxy profile, and you are free to choose whether or not to enable location services for the Proxy app on your mobile device.

Even though the use of location services is voluntary, enabling them is essential in order to enhance the user experience. This is accomplished by removing the requirement to launch the application each time the user interacts with a device or checks in. Your location data is not saved or transmitted in any way; it is only used to wake up the app when it detects that it is in close proximity to a Proxy device.

Your legal rights

You have the right to access any information that we keep about you in our records.

You have the right to ask for any information that we have about you, as well as how we use any information that we collect about you. Within the next forty-five days, once we have received and verified your request, we will disclose to you:

The various categories of personally identifiable information that we have collected about you

The origins of those particular details

The reason we are providing that information

The various types of outside parties with whom we do business and who have access to that information

The particular pieces of information that are personally identifiable to you

You have the ability to rectify any errors that may have been made in your personal information.

Within the Proxy app, you have the ability to make changes to your Proxy profile, such as changing your name or uploading a new photo. You can contact privacy@vpsproxies.com to have any other information about you that we have updated. If we are required to keep the previous information for legitimate contractual or legal purposes, we will honor your request to update the information even though we will honor your request to update your information.

If you believe that your employer or another organization has inaccurate information about you, you have the ability to contact that organization and ask them to update your information in your capacity as the data controller. We will comply with the request of the controller to update any information that they are in charge of.

You can request that your information be hidden.

You have the right to request that we delete any information that we have obtained from you and stored it, although there are some circumstances in which this won’t be possible. The completion of the transaction or the provision of the service you requested, compliance with legal obligations, or the detection and prevention of security incidents, illegal activity, or fraudulent activity are examples of these exceptions.
